What materials do you use to produce the SPATS?

How is sizing done?

As part of the checkout process you will be asked to choose a size. We make our SPATS following shoes sizes. But SPATS are spats and shoes are shoes, so for SPATS the most important measures are the ankle and calf circumferences.

Of course we can fit SPATS on your measurements. You just have to let us know, so during order’s process, select the size nearer to your measurement then, on the note field, enter your ankle and calf measurement.

What if my SPATS don't fit properly?

If the fit is only slightly out we'll pay to have the SPATS' buttons adjusted by a local tailor in your city.

If this doesn't fix the problem we'll have you send the SPATS back to us and we'll remake them for you, free of charge. See our returns policy for full details.

How do I know if the ordered SPATS will fit?

We carefully fine-tuned the measurement process with a big testing group to make it as accurate as possible.

Over 90% of our customers are satisfied with the fit of our SPATS.

As a general rule, you should provide us with your exact current measurements. Please do not choose smaller measurements or bigger measurements because you think to lose weight.

Please allow a slight variance from the original measurement due to the fact the SPATS are handcrafted.

Should the measurements of the received SPATS be considerably different from the measurements you indicated in your order, Emar-design will offer you a new product free of charge.

We cannot guarantee that your SPATS made to the measurements from our standard size chart will have a perfect fit.

What is the shipping fee?

The price of our SPATS includes free standard worldwide delivery (2 - 3 weeks). Express delivery (1 – 2 weeks) is available for an additional US$10 – 30 per SPATS pair (depending on your country of residence). The exact express shipping costs for all geographical regions can be found here.

Do I have to pay duties and taxes?

This varies from country to country. In most countries there is an exemption quota that allows some merchandise – depending on the value of the package – to be received free of taxes and duties. For example, in the United States most packages valued at less than US$200 are free of duties and taxes. Emar-design will not be responsible for any duties or taxes you might be charged.

Is there a handling fee for clearing customs?

If your delivery is not exempted from customs, there is a chance that you will be charged a small handling fee for paperwork by the local authority.

How much do SPATS cost? Pricing explained …

The price of our bespoke SPATS depends on its fabric and model, and starts from US$ 47, refers to Classic Collection model LH and LL. The SPATS price includes the complete SPATS, its packaging and standard fee shipping cost.

All prices are quoted in US Dollars, but if you hold on a price with the cursors many other currencies will appear.

Please note: the prices on this website don't include European VAT or import duties. These duties may be levied by your local authorities at the time of import.

How do I know that I can trust Emar-design with my credit card details?

For your enhanced security, we have partnered with Paypal, to provide you with a very secure payment experience. As a result, the Paypal manage the entire payment process, and therefore Emar-design never sees, saves or otherwise gets your credit card details. Aren’t your bespoke SPATS relatively expensive?

Yes, you can, but only until we begin the production of your SPATS (this normally starts about 24 hours after we receive your order).

Can I return or exchange a product?

Our main goal is to provide high-quality SPATS that you can enjoy to the fullest. If this is not the case and you are displeased with your SPATS, we will try our best to solve all problems. You can rest assured that we want to make you happy with your purchase.

In case we send you the wrong product, the right product but with the wrong size, or a faulty product, or if we did not use your provided measurements properly, you can return and exchange your SPATS at no cost to you.

If you experience any of these problems, please send an email to us at info@emar-design.com .As a matter of course, we will reimburse the shipping costs, if you send the product back to us with the cheapest method available.
